Pittsburgh activist, retired coal miner, and public school teacher, Kipp Dawson, is being recognized in a new gallery exhibit, “Wearing the Movement.” The show features t-shirts from Dawson’s extensive collection dating back to the 1960s, and will be available to view through December 12 at the Susan Bergman Gurrentz '56 Art Gallery at Chatham University. An opening event is free to the public on Wednesday, October 15th, at 6PM in Chatham University’s Eddy Theater. Dawson will present the Barbara Stone Hollander ’60 Lecture in Women’s Leadership. The lecture, reception and gallery opening are free to the public with registration.
