The Flock Artist Collective is composed of artist/mothers whose creative practices explore the wide-ranging, multifaceted, often-unseen work of parenting. Artists include Eileen Alcalde, Sandra Bacchi, Aimee Bungard, Sophia Cardillo, Naomi Chambers, Megan Lindsey, Christine Lorenz, Michele Randall, Megan Shope,,, Carrie Smith Libman, Masha Solus, Janet Watkins, Courtney Williams, Alisha Wormsley, Alecia Dawn Young, and Stefanie Zito. Each artist has their own way of tracing out the lines that connect artmaking to mothering, and none of them look like simple geometry. Above all, they are lines that converge, sketching out the arcs of lives. Long or short, they are also wide.
