Join Chamber Music Pittsburgh for Songs of Black America, a unique collaboration between two powerhouse soloists: flutist Brandon Patrick George and pianist Aaron Diehl. This program, which George and Diehl are touring nationwide, celebrates the rich lineage of Black American composers. George is a “knockout musician with a gorgeous sound” (The Philadelphia Inquirer) who has performed across the United States and Europe, sharing his talents as a soloist and member of the beloved Imani Winds Quintet. Diehl, a celebrated pianist and “composer worth watching” (The New York Times), has become one of his generation's most recognizable solo pianists.
