Bread and Puppet presents: The Diagonal Life Circus

2020 marks 50 years of circus making for the Bread and Puppet Theater, and they are celebrating the occasion with a national tour! They will be performing the Diagonal Life Circus, a raucous, colorful, spectacle in the iconic Bread and Puppet Circus tradition, featuring stilt-walkers, flag-twirlers, masked performers and the menagerie of paper mâché creatures and giant puppets. After the show Bread & Puppet will serve its famous sourdough rye bread with aioli, and “Cheap Art” – books, posters, postcards, pamphlets and banners from the Bread & Puppet Press – will be for sale.
