Building a self-driving robot on Google Cloud

In this talk, you will hear about our work to build a self-driving robot and the technical challenges we faced. You will see a live demonstration of two robots playing a game of ball against each other. We set out to build a robot that could participate in a local robot derby contest and were inspired by the self-driving work happening in Pittsburgh. We leveraged a lot of technology along the way, both open source and from Google Cloud, including things like TensorFlow, Node.js, Google IoT Core, PubSub, App Engine, Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, etc.
