Armed Only with a Camera: The Life and Death of Brent Renaud is a short HBO documentary telling the story of award-winning documentary filmmaker Brent Renaud, the first American killed during the early days of Ukraine’s full-scale invasion. In attendance will be a producer of the film, as well as Justin Merriman, an award-winning photojournalist who has worked in Ukraine and was friends with late photojournalist Chris Hondros, who was also killed while reporting in the field. Filmmaker Steve Hoover (Blood Brother, Almost Holy) will also be in attendance, speaking on his experience working in Ukraine.
