Carnegie Mellon University's International Film Festival Presents "The Divine Order"
When: Thu., Nov. 30, 7-9 p.m. 2017
As part of their International Film Festival, Carnegie Mellon University will show "The Divine Order." A film set in 1971 Switzerland, "The Divine Order" tells the story of Nora, an unfulfilled housewife who is forbidden by her husband from taking a part-time job. Nora's growing interest in women's liberation turns her into the poster child for her town's suffragette movement. This event includes a Swiss-inspired food reception and an exclusive Skype Q&A with director Petra Volpe.
