Chamber Orchestra of Pittsburgh presents Swept Away

When: Sun., Feb. 5, 3-4:30 p.m. 2023

On February 4 and 5, 2023, COP will offer a program that celebrates the remarkable talents of composer, violinist, and conductor Alyssa Wang. COP is commissioning an original work from Wang, a violin concerto titled Swept Away, and this program will feature its world premiere performance with Wang as soloist. COP will also present Joseph Haydn’s Symphony No. 44 “Mourning”, and Sinfonietta No. 1 by Malcolm Arnold. Reception to follow.
