Experience 17th-century London with lute songs by John Dowland and theater songs by Henry Purcell, all ranging from the tender to the bawdy. We also serve up a variety of superb English instrumental music, including the exquisite Royal Consorts of Henry Lawes for two violins, two viols, and two theorbos. With Pascale Beaudin (soprano), Dongmyung Ahn (violin), Martha McGaughey (viola da gamba), and David Walker (theorbo).
