Cancer affects the lives of many, but dealing with it can still feel isolating and lonely. CureRock aims to ease the stress — specifically for children and young adults – by serving as a source of enjoyment through community events in Pittsburgh, many of which involve live music. The next CureRock event takes place Saturday at The Mr. Roboto Project with local bands Rue, Jess Klein and the Good Time, late., and The Moon. It’ll be a mix of folk, rock, pop, and good vibes. Additionally, there’s a silent auction to raise money for the education, research, and quality-of-life programs for adolescent and young adult (AYA) cancer.
