Fragments of Time presented by Texture Contemporary Ballet

Fragments of Time will feature Artistic Director Alan Obuzor’s work “Un-Preservation of Humanism”, which first premiered in 2016. This work is set to the stirring and emotional music of Ezio Bosso. In this piece, the dancers are on pointe while melding together movement that is grounded, visceral, and human. This piece abstractly takes a look at human conflict. The program will also showcase Texture’s dynamic resident dancers performing a new work by Alan Obuzor, exploring concepts of the universe and an individual's place in it. The sound scape for this piece includes a spoken word selection written by Alan.
