Four years ago, the podcast Invisibilia debuted at No. 1 spot the iTunes charts. It's an impressive feat for any new podcast, but especially considering the episode's subject, "The Secret History of Thoughts," tackled big, abstruse, ambitious questions about the nature of thinking and the evolution of psychology. But anyone who was familiar with the work of Invisibilia co-founder Lulu Miller wasn't surprised that they were able to explain such heady, complex material in an entertaining and succinct package. Miller cut her teeth on the science beat for NPR and Radiolab, and in addition to her work on Invisiblia, has a book called Why Fish Don't Exist (April 2020). Enjoy a night of storytelling from this award-winning journalist and radio producer at Frick Fine Arts Auditorium, presented by Pittsburgh Contemporary Writers Series.
