Handstands- Conditioning, Balance and Shapes with Mikey

Handstands are one of the foundational movements of acrobatics and calisthenics. This class will begin with a warm up consisting of mobility, prehab and conditioning drills to challenge your body and help you build handstand strength and flexibility. The later portion of class will focus on getting you acquainted with alignment so that we can focus HOW to balance your handstand and experiment with shapes such as splits, scorpion, hollowbacks and sidebends. Variations that take stress off of wrists and shoulders will be offered.
