Indie-Jazz/Experimental Guitar Show with Erik Cirelli and Devin Sherman

Devin Sherman

Devin Sherman is a classically-trained guitarist turned improvising musician in the indie-jazz/experimental vein with flavors of funk/folk/alternative music sprinkled in. His introspective, tone-painting approach draws listeners in to examine the colors, textures, and stories that underly his improvisations. Some tunes sound like a musical Calder mobile and others splinter into jazz and bluegrass and blues. Erik Cirelli (Skeletonized, The Garment District, The Harry Von Zells, Emily Rodgers) is a Pittsburgh-based guitarist comfortable playing any music on any stage. His solo improv sets are steeped in riffs, textures, and styles from his years playing indie, rock, jazz, and experimental music.
