The Pittsburgh Contemporary Writers Series welcomes three Young Adult publishing powerhouses, including the best-selling author of Dumplin', Julie Murphy! She'll be joined by her editor, Alessandra Balzer, for a conversation about YA publishing and writing moderated by Pitt professor Siobhan Vivian, also a best-selling YA author. Balzer will discuss her experience in leading Balzer + Bray, a young adult imprint at HarperCollins, where she has edited writers such as Angie Thomas and Emily Danforth, as well as Murphy.
