Karagoz Theatre: "The Forest of the Witch"

The University of Pittsburgh’s Summer Language Institute and Center for Russian, East European, and Eurasian Studies are excited to host the US Karagoz Theatre Company for a performance of the award-winning “The Forest of the Witch'' on Friday, June 30th at the Frick Fine Arts Auditorium. Adapted from traditional Anatolian shadow play characters and stories, this 45 minute performance is suitable for audiences of all ages and will be followed by a Q&A session and workshop with the artist. Donations will be accepted at the door to aid earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria.
