Pittsburgh Sound + Image celebrates the legendary experimental filmmaker's 109th birthday (belatedly, but still in time for Taurus season) with an all-celluloid lineup of her major works: Meshes of the Afternoon (ranked 16th greatest film of all time in Sight & Sound's most recent poll), A Study in Choreography for Camera, Meditation on Violence, Ritual in Transfigured Time (with a brand new live score by Ill Fitting Party), At Land, and The Very Eye of Night.
