Music for the Feast of St. Anthony of Padua Pipes, Reeds, and Horns

A feast of music at Saint Anthonys Chapel, “Pipes, Reeds, and Horns,” features organist Mark Brampton Smith and the Renaissance City Winds, one of Pennsylvania’s foremost chamber music ensembles for the past half-century. The program includes the St. Anthony Chorale by Franz Joseph Haydn, a concerto by Johann Hertel, John Knowles Paine's Variations on the Star-Spangled Banner, and additional American music by Robert Washburn and Winds bassoonist and resident composer, R. James Whipple. There will be a meet-the-artist reception after the concert. Doors open at 7:00 PM
