New Kensington Wine and Beer Festival

The Alle-Kiski Strong Chamber of Commerce presents the 3rd annual New Kensington Wine and Beer Festival from 5-9 p.m. Sat., Sept. 11. The city's Fifth Avenue will be awash in flavorful wines, tasty brews, delicious spirits and sweet ciders — along with a bevy of food trucks, artists, crafters and entertainment. Entertainment from New Ken Bred with Jimbo Jackson. Festival is free, but a Tasting Ticket ($20) is required to drink. With it, you get unlimited tastings from vendors and one free beer from the Beer Tent, which has full servings of locally brewed beers along with home brewers.
