This program aims to improve the use of prevention strategies, reduce tick bites, and improve early diagnosis, using the most current research available. We’ll explore Pennsylvania tick statistics; how to identify different kinds of ticks; where ticks live; how they behave; Lyme and other tick-borne diseases; recognizing the early symptoms of these diseases; how to prevent tick bites; and what to do if you’re bitten by a tick.
