This Black August, you’re invited to join the Party for Socialism and Liberation Pittsburgh for a cultural and education forum on Pittsburgh’s Struggle for Black Liberation with Eugene Puryear! Eugene is a journalist, author, organizer, and host on Breakthrough News. Puryear was the vice presidential nominee of the PSL in 2008 and 2016. He will be discussing the history of Black radicalism in Pittsburgh from the Depression, through World War II, and into the anti-communist McCarthy era.
