Synth-pop is a difficult genre to make sound warm and cozy, but somehow Ruby the RabbitFoot works her magic and creates a sound that feels intimate, folky and rich in a pool of synthesizers. Her warbly timbre and gift for crafting earworm melodies make her an addicting listen, and you can lose yourself in the tuneage tonight at the upstairs space of Spirit. Joining Ruby will be two locals, both of note: fuzzy-psychedelic-pop-outfit delicious pastries and Good Sport, a lo-fi indie pop band that is impossible not to dance to. Definitely bring your comfiest dancing shoes and shiniest attire. - Meg Fair
