Scraposaurs

For a limited time only, prehistoric creatures are taking over Pittsburgh Botanic Garden! Discover 14 whimsical sculptures installed throughout the Garden's 65 acres. Created by artist Dale Lewis, these Scraposaurs are made entirely from recycled metal and found objects—turning old scraps of steel into fascinating art. Ranging from an adorable 2-ft tall baby Musk ox to an 11-ft T-Rex, these imaginative sculptures will surprise and delight visitors of all ages. New drop-in programs and a variety of native plantings will ensure no two visits to the Garden are alike.
