San Antonio-via-New Orleans brothers, Kody & Kyle Valentine, aka The Holy Knives, who will be returning to Pittsburgh, May 12th at Spirit, in continued support of their debut album, Year of the Black Dog.
Year of the Black Dog was recorded at The Sonic Ranch in West Texas with producer Manuel Calderon (The Chamanas, Nina Diaz) who helped shape their desert dreamscapes - a mood-driven album with a western heart. The atmosphere creates a surreal backdrop to Kody’s self-exploratory lyrics.
