From September 11-15, United Way will host 37 projects in partnership with First Energy Foundation, UPMC and UPMC Health Plan to help individuals and families in Allegheny, Armstrong, Butler, Fayette and Westmoreland counties meet basic needs, move toward financial stability and build for success in school and life. Volunteers will have the opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of others while engaging in fun and exciting projects including refreshing the Healing Garden at HAVIN, painting wooden porches and doors at The Lighthouse Foundation, serving lunch and line dancing with seniors citizens at Vintage and more.
