Venture Outdoors "Paint & Paddle"

The natural world has inspired artists since the beginning of time. Now it’s YOUR turn for nature-based creative exploration! We’ll start the morning on shore, as Nanci Goldberg goes over some water color basics. Next, we’ll discuss paddling safety and launch our kayaks to explore all the beauty that Sharpsburg’s waterways has to offer. Nanci will discuss color, lighting, and composition while pointing out the wildlife and plant species. Finally, we’ll head back to shore to creatively express what we experienced and what inspired us with our individual watercolor kits.
