Voice Lessons: Exploration in Developing Your Written Voice(s)

Age Group: Adults 18+, Skill Level: All Levels, Come for a chance to play around with different voices in your writing. We’ll dig into the mechanics of creating a distinctive voice on the page, from worldview to word choice, syllables to silences. Bring a pen and paper or a computing device to write with—whatever suits you. Bring work in progress if you have it, or start fresh! By the end of this workshop, participants will… have a toolkit of exercises that strengthen your voice-writing muscle in anything from multi-character science fiction to autobiographical memoir.
