Where the film “Oppenheimer” failed to explore the devastating impact of nuclear destruction on victims and the environment, "Vow From Hiroshima" offers a poignant and timely counter-narrative. It shares an intimate, uplifting glimpse into Setsuko Thurlow, an 85-year-old survivor of the atomic bombing who dedicated her life to peace and the elimination of Nuclear Weapons. Q&A with the filmmaker following the film. This event commemorates the 79th anniversary of the atomic bombings. Sponsored by Remembering Hiroshima Imagining Peace and Women's International League for Peace and Freedom. Hosted by Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Pitt.
